πŸŽ„ What You’ll See on the Kalama Christmas Light Tour

December brings out something special in Kalama.

Some homes glow with classic elegance — warm white lights tracing rooftops, wreaths shining softly in the windows, simple displays that feel timeless and intentional. Others lean into the joy of the season with playful setups that make kids lean forward in their seats and adults smile without realizing it.

And then there are the homes that go all in — bright, bold, impossible to miss. The kind you slow down for… and sometimes circle back to.

But some of the most memorable moments come from the quieter corners — a tree wrapped just right, a porch light glowing warmly, a small display that feels heartfelt rather than flashy. These are the details that give Kalama its holiday charm and make the tour feel personal.

This blog — along with the interactive Kalama Christmas Light Map — highlights the homes locals look forward to every year and the ones quickly becoming part of the tradition.

Then make your way toward Toteff Park. Nothing flashy. Just a simple, familiar stop where the season feels close and comforting. Nearby, the river settles into the background — quiet, dark, and steady — adding that last touch of calm that makes the whole evening feel complete.

🚒✨ Christmas Ships in Kalama — December 28th 2025

One of Kalama’s most anticipated holiday moments happens on the river.

On December 27, the Christmas Ships, sponsored by the Longview Yacht Club, will depart from the Kalama Marina at approximately 6:00 PM and cruise along the Columbia River toward Ahles Point, passing the waterfront in front of McMenamins along the way. Decorated boats glow against the dark water, their lights reflecting across the river as families gather along the shoreline with warm drinks in hand.

It’s a classic Kalama evening — calm, festive, and quietly magical. No tickets. No rush. Just neighbors, friends, and visitors coming together to watch the river light up one last time before the season winds down.

If you’re already out enjoying the Kalama Christmas Home Light Tour, this is the perfect way to end the night. Start with the neighborhood lights, wander through downtown, pause at Toteff Park, then head toward the waterfront as the Christmas Ships drift by.

This is one of those traditions people look forward to every December — simple, meaningful, and uniquely Kalama, ✨ Get the full Longview Yacht Club Christmas Boat Parade schedule here.
